About My Maneki Neko & My Lucky Cat
With a Love of Japanese Folk Art, My Lucky Neko was started! We found it very difficult to find these sweet cats to purchase, and imagined it must be even harder in other areas. We launched My Lucky Neko in 2009, offering product with the Japanese Beckoning Cat, aka Lucky Cat, aka Maneki Neko. We have been searching far and wide for new products that are focused on the famous Japanese icon of the Beckoning Cat.

The Left Paw raised beckons (attracts) “Customers”, “People”
the Right Paw raised attracts “Money,” “Good Fortune,”and“Wealth”.

Maneki Neko come in different colors, styles, and degrees of ornateness. In addition to sculptures, Maneki Neko can be found as keychains, piggy banks, air fresheners, and miscellaneous ornaments.
“BECKONING CAT”, “LUCKY CAT”

In Japan, it's believed that the Lucky Cat will bring in customers to businesses, business success in fortune.

The Maneki Neko (招き猫, literally "Beckoning Cat"; also known as Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Money Cat or Fortune Cat) is a common Japanese sculpture, often made of ceramic, which is believed to bring good luck to the owner. The sculpture depicts a cat (traditionally a Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is usually displayed—many times at the entrance—in shops, restaurants, pachinko parlors, and other businesses. Some of the sculptures are electric or battery-powered and have a slow-moving paw beckoning
